Jim Connelly is Senior Vice President, Special Projects, for IMG College, managing the company’s Stadium and Arena Enhancement initiative, as well as general oversight of the company’s licensing affiliate, The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), which serves as the trademark licensing representative for more than 200 collegiate properties.
Prior to joining IMG College in November, 2012, Connelly held top executive positions for leading professional sports leagues, entertainment companies and consumer product/leisure industry brands. Most recently, he was responsible for global licensing, home entertainment, event merchandising and on-line sales for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), areas accounting for more than one quarter of WWE worldwide revenues.

Connelly spent the bulk of his career – 25 years – at the National Football League, serving in various roles, including running the league’s European operations, leading NFL’s $3 billion consumer products business, increasing overseas merchandise sales from $4 million to over $250 million annually, and launching new product categories including NFL women’s apparel and the first-ever NFL home shopping cable network weekly show.

Prior to his career at the NFL, Connelly held key marketing positions at Colgate-Palmolive and Cunard.

Connelly has a Master’s Degree from The College of William & Mary and a BA from Georgetown University.  He resides in Rye, NY with his wife and children.
