LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce that the organization has just surpassed the 4,000-member mark for the first time in its 26-year history.
"Our goal a year ago was to expand the reach and influence of the AVCA," said Kathy DeBoer, AVCA executive director. "I'm proud to say the Board of Directors and staff have worked tirelessly to that end." The Association has seen a nearly-25% growth over the past year to accomplish this landmark. Since May 2006, AVCA has been managed by Host Communications and is one of HOST's five full-service association management clients. "While 4,000 members is a significant milestone and 25% year-over-year growth is certainly impressive, the real exciting part of passing this signpost is that we have just begun to see the results of our initiatives," DeBoer said. "We are at the beginning of our growth, just the beginning."
