Sep 10, 2008

The University Athletic Association and Sun Sports have expanded and extended their long-time partnership through 2019, officials have announced. The television agreement has been and remains subject to the Southeastern Conference's league-wide television contracts.

In addition to the Gators' state-wide television rights, Fox has assumed the multi-media rights for the Gators, including radio, internet, and corporate partnerships. Fox has reached an agreement with IMG College to assist in the management of these elements.

Sun Sports and its sister network, FSN Florida, are owned by Fox and will continue to televise a variety of live and tape-delay University of Florida athletic events, headlined by the weekly Breakfast with the Gators on Sunday mornings.

"This is has been a tremendous partnership, which dates back to 1996, and we are very excited about extending and building this relationship," said Jeremy Foley, University of Florida Director of Athletics. "With the amazing resources at Fox and IMG College, the Gators are well-positioned for the future."
