Florida Gators Announce Scotts as Official Lawn and Garden Company

GAINESVILLE, Florida - IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, and Sun Sports, the multimedia rights partners for the University of Florida's University Athletic Association, announced today that The Scotts Company LLC will become the "Official Lawn and Garden Company" of the Florida Gators.

The partnership, which began this academic year, is the first between Scotts and a college sports program. Under the terms of the agreement, Scotts will provide turf expertise and premium products for the athletic venues across the Gators' campus. Scotts will also receive category exclusive marketing and promotional rights which include associated radio, television, print, signage, and Internet opportunities.

Additionally, Florida Gator and Scotts turf professionals will appear in television spots highlighting lawn tips to fans across Florida. Scotts messages will appear across statewide television on Sun Sports, radio on the Gator Network, in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and on Gatorzone.com.
