IMG College and the Southeastern Conference Extend Sponsorship with Dick's Sporting Goods

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- IMG College, the multi-media rights partner for the Southeastern Conference (SEC), today announced an extension with Dick's Sporting Goods as the official sporting goods sponsor of the SEC. The agreement will run through 2012.

"We are honored to extend our contract with Dick's Sporting Goods as the Official Sporting Goods Sponsor of the Southeastern Conference," said Ben May, Regional Vice President & General Manager, Southeastern Conference. "Dick's has remained a loyal supporter of the SEC, and we look forward to our continued relationship."

Under terms of the new agreement, Dick's will receive category exclusive marketing and promotional rights, along with associated radio, television, print, Internet, signage, and event marketing rights.

Dick's Sporting Goods participates in grassroots activation including SEC youth clinics and the widely popular SEC Fanfare events surrounding the SEC Football Championship and Men's Basketball Tournament.

Dick's has been the official sporting goods sponsor of the SEC since 2007.
