IMG College Announces New National Sales Structure and Addition of Regional Vice Presidents

Lexington, Ky. -- IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, the world's premier sports, entertainment, and media company, today announced its new national sales structure with the appointment of regional vice presidents (RVPs) and additional operational support.

Scott MacKenzie has been appointed RVP, West Region; Ben May will become RVP, Southeast Region, expanding his current role as general manager of SEC Sports Marketing; David Nunnery transitions to RVP, Emerging Properties and National Print Sales; and David Brown has been named RVP, Midwest Region. All will report to Lawton Logan, senior vice president of IMG Collegiate Properties.

This new structure supports the significant growth IMG College has experienced in the multi-media rights business since being acquired by IMG. The regional VPs will facilitate more effective communication between properties, provide each with additional support, and focus on revenue growth initiatives in their regions. In addition, they will play a key role in new property development within their respective regions.

MacKenzie joins IMG from the University of Arizona (UA), where he was senior associate athletics director of external operations. Prior to joining the UA staff, MacKenzie worked in the athletics departments at the University of Miami and the University of Colorado, primarily focusing on marketing initiatives. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of Montana and a master's degree in sports administration from St. Thomas University.

May came to IMG with significant experience in the college market, specifically in the SEC footprint. He has served as director of sales for Raycom Sports, vice president of affiliate relations for College Sports Southeast, director of business development for Chick-fil-A, and general manager the SEC's corporate sponsor program from 1993-98. May is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism.

Nunnery transitions to regional vice president from his role as manager of IMG's print advertising. During his four years with the company Nunnery generated increases in advertising revenue and in the number of publications created. He also initiated and grew an Emerging Properties division, with General Manager oversight of Furman University, The Ohio Valley Conference, Southern Conference, and Wofford College. Nunnery has over 10 years of advertising and publishing experience ranging from business and sports publications to daily newspapers and magazines.

Brown joins IMG as the former associate athletics director for external relations at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining the Buckeyes, he served as assistant director of marketing and promotions at The University of Oklahoma and as director of marketing at Indiana University from 1991-99. Brown is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a degree in journalism.

Additionally, IMG College has announced the promotion of Kim Ramsay to vice president of operations for the collegiate group. In this new position, Ramsay will be responsible for providing strategic input and operational support to all of the collegiate properties, as well as play a key role in IMG College's new business development team. Ramsay has more than 20 years experience with the company, including management of the University of Kentucky property for over ten years.

"Kim's role has continued to expand as we have significantly grown the number of our properties," Logan said. "She brings a perfect combination of experience, organization, support, and insight to this position."
