IMG Names Joe Merideth Vice President and General Manager of UConn Sports Marketing

Lexington, Ky. -- IMG College, a division of IMG, the world's premier sports, entertainment, and media company, today announced Joe Merideth as the new vice president and general manager of the company's sports marketing property at the University of Connecticut.

Merideth and his team will manage UConn's multi-media rights, which include corporate sponsorships, on-site opportunities, stadium and venue signage, corporate suites, game day publications and website sales.

Merideth began his career with IMG College in 2004 serving as vice president and general manager of the Oklahoma State University Cowboy Sports Network where he created a new multi-media operation.

Prior to joining IMG College, Merideth spent 11 years in the television industry where he held positions of account executive, local sales manager, and director of sales at the local FOX and CW Networks in Oklahoma City. His responsibilities included managing the daily operations of the local and national sales, production, traffic, and sales promotion departments. Merideth graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's degree in radio, television & film in 1988 and a master's degree in mass communications in 1995.
