The University of Tennessee and IMG Extend Athletics Multimedia Rights Partnership

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee. -- IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, and the University of Tennessee today announced a 5-year extension to its current long-term marketing and media partnership. The deal will make IMG College the exclusive holder of the University's multi-media rights offerings through the 2021-22 academic year.

IMG College, which has managed multi-media rights for The University of Tennessee through the Vol Network since 1989, will provide funding to refurbish Neyland Stadium's Football Video Board to be completed in time for the 2009 season.

"This renewal is a much-appreciated confirmation of the valued partnership we have developed with the University of Tennessee," said Tom Stultz, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for IMG College. "It has been an honor to work with the University, and we look forward to continuing to grow its multi-media rights program with the resources IMG College provides."

The current agreement is in its second year of a 10-year deal. The University and IMG have worked together to create new media programming, improved venue signage, and fan enhancements. IMG, with the aid of its Corporate Partners, has already installed a new LED digital signage model at football games, as well as a remarkable center-hung scoreboard for all Vols and Lady Vols basketball games to enhance the game experience for Tennessee fans.

IMG College manages and markets all rights associated with radio game play-by-play and coaches' shows, signage, on-site marketing opportunities, corporate sponsorships, publishing rights, future website sales and management, and coaches' endorsements.
