Florida Gators Partner With The Parking Spot

ORLANDO (August 23, 2010) - The Parking Spot is kicking off the 2010 college football season with the announcement of a new partnership with the University of Florida. The unique agreement transforms the signature yellow-and-black spots on shuttles in the Orlando International fleet to reflect the Blue and Orange of the University of Florida.

The Gator spotted shuttles join the Gold and Black UCF Knights shuttle, rolled out at the Orlando International facility last October, as part of a nationwide campaign where The Parking Spot partners with collegiate or professional teams with fans in cities where the company operates near airport parking facilities. In addition to University of Florida, The Parking Spot has partnered with 21 teams across the NCAA, MLB, NHL & AHL.

"The Parking Spot shuttles are just another way for fans throughout the Orlando area to express pride and loyalty to UF," said Mike Hill, University of Florida Associate Athletics Director. Guests at The Parking Spot enjoy signature amenities and service, including complimentary luggage assistance, membership in the Spot ClubTM frequent parking program and bottled water upon their return.

The new deal, which was negotiated through Gator Sports Marketing, the multimedia rights partner for the University of Florida and an IMG College property, will run through June 2013.
