WINSTON-SALEM, NC - IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, has named Tom Stultz its Senior Vice President and Managing Director for College Media.

Stultz, who held a similar position with IMG College before its acquisition of ISP Sports in October 2010, will oversee the new, larger IMG College's multimedia rights business, which includes more than 90 of the nation's top collegiate properties. Stultz will be responsible for setting the strategy for growth in collegiate sales, marketing, and development of IMG's college properties, as well as reinforcing IMG's commitment to creating new and unique opportunities for its collegiate partners.

"At the heart of being the best sports company in America is the value we place on relationships with our partner institutions. We are pleased to have a person with Tom's proven track record of success lead our IMG College Media team that services those partners," stated Ben Sutton, President of IMG College. "There are more than 172 million college fans in the country that are passionate, loyal followers of their teams, and it is our goal to provide our collegiate partners with the best resources, outlets, and opportunities to connect to their fans."

Stultz will also oversee the IMG College Media leadership team, which will include Doug Gillin, Senior Vice President-Collegiate Properties Sales, and Joe Potter, Senior Vice President-Operations. Gillin, who previously spent 15 years with ISP, will oversee IMG College's nine conference relationship managers and their respective property general managers, who coordinate daily contact with collegiate properties. He will be responsible for the development of revenue generation opportunities, sales management and marketing. Potter, an 18-year veteran of ISP, will be responsible for the administration of all media departments, including radio, television, publishing, signage and new media.

In addition to client management, Stultz' team will work closely with the IMG College national sales team to carve out local opportunities in order to develop national sales platforms across multiple properties.

"At IMG College, we are redefining how college sports is sold," added Stultz. "I am excited to lead a great team of college sports marketing experts as we work with our collegiate partners to grow the market for their brands and increase exposure to their respective fan bases."

Stultz served on the IMG College team that assisted the University of Texas in developing its Texas TV deal with ESPN. Stultz worked with Texas for more than three years to explore all its options and opportunities for establishing the first-of-its-kind network dedicated solely to the Texas Longhorns. IMG College will help manage the Texas relationship with ESPN and will be responsible for selling inventory on the new network.

Stultz, who is currently based in Lexington, KY, will move to the IMG College headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC to assume his new role.
