WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (August 11, 2014) – IMG College has been retained by Harvard University’s Department of Athletics to increase corporate support for Crimson Athletics, it was announced today.

The multi-year agreement gives IMG College exclusive representation rights to develop in-depth corporate sponsorships appropriate to Harvard Athletics.

“IMG College is proud to serve Harvard’s Athletics Department,” said Ben Sutton Jr., Chairman and President of IMG College. “Harvard’s students and 271,000 alumni living in the U.S. are very active in school athletics and represent a veritable ‘who’s who’ of distinguished Americans. We will work closely with the Department of Athletics to attract a select group of premier sponsors in line with Harvard Athletics’ unique offering.”

“We are pleased to have retained IMG for the management of this program,” said Bob Scalise, The Nichols Family Director of Athletics. “IMG’s goal will be to build additional exposure and opportunities for our athletics program and connect us to sponsors that align well with Harvard Athletics in the areas of leadership, academic integration and competitive excellence.”

IMG’s management of the sponsorship program will begin immediately. IMG is currently identifying a dedicated General Manager to be based on campus at the Athletics Department.
