WCC Basketball Championships All-Session Tickets Sold Out

The West Coast Conference, which is a partner of IMG College, announced Monday that all-session tickets for the 2009 WCC Basketball Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 6-9 are sold out. The capacity for the Orleans Arena at the four-day event is 7,845. Read more.

IMG College Named Official Partner of the John McLendon Minority Athletics Administrators Hall of Fame

IMG College has been named the official marketing partner of the McLendon Scholarship Foundation's John McLendon Minority Athletics Administrators Hall of Fame Induction for the next four years, beginning in 2009. The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics today announced it has reached an agreement with IMG College, a division of IMG Worldwide, for a 12-year multi-media rights partnership worth more than $30 million in guaranteed payments to the University. FOX and IMG Select Cathy Weeden to Oversee Gators Multimedia Rights Deal

FOX Sports Networks and IMG have named Cathy Weeden General Manager of Gator Sports Marketing, a division of IMG College that helps manage the marketing and media rights for University of Florida athletics on behalf of FOX-owned Sun Sports. Weeden, currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Sports Florida and Sun Sports, will continue to serve in that capacity until a transition early next year. Read more.

WCC Men's Basketball Championship Final to be Broadcast Nationally on Westwood One

The West Coast Conference (WCC) announced today that its men's basketball tournament final, which will be played on March 9 at the Orleans Arena, will be broadcast nationally on Westwood One Radio. Bloom Supermarkets Aim to Break Guinness Kissing Record at Furman University

To help kick off this year's holiday season, on November 15, Bloom supermarkets will sponsor an attempt to break the Guinness World RecordTM for most couples kissing simultaneously at Furman University's Paladin Stadium in Greenville, S.C. The Bloom attempt, dubbed "Kissletoe 2008," will be the featured halftime event during the Paladins' final home football game, against archrival Georgia Southern University. The game will be televised to approximately nine million viewers on Fox Sports' FSN South, kicking off at 3 p.m. Read more.
