IMG, the multimedia rights partner of the University of Nebraska, has named Chris Davis General Manager of Husker IMG Sports Marketing.
Davis, a nine-year IMG veteran, has been serving as Associate General Manager at Auburn IMG Sports Marketing during his tenure.  Previously, he was a Senior Account Executive at Marshall. Davis was the recipient of the 2014 IMG College President’s Cup Award for Sales, the college division’s most prestigious honor for its top seller.

“It’s an incredible opportunity to be able to serve Nebraska Athletics and the entire Husker family,” Davis said. “The Cornhuskers are a premier brand in sports. I’m looking forward to contributing to new experiences and memories for fans while driving value to our partners.”
Davis fills the role of former Husker IMG Sports Marketing General Manager Dave Witty, who is now the university’s Senior Associate Athletic Director, Marketing & Communications.
IMG has served Nebraska since 2006. In September, 2014, the university and IMG agreed to a six-year extension to their rights agreement, which includes IMG’s management and marketing of all sponsorship and media rights associated with Nebraska’s athletic programs, including access to university marks and logos, experiential platforms, live game and shoulder radio programming, coaches’ TV and radio shows, program sales, digital platforms, and publications.
