IMG announced today that it has acquired TopShelf, a company that specializes in mobile hospitality and experiential marketing for professional and collegiate sports clients including NASCAR and the PGA.

TopShelf will operate within IMG’s college business, complementing event and hospitality offerings for universities, conferences, media and corporate partners. TopShelf’s assets will also be utilized across WME | IMG’s broader music, action sports, food and lifestyle event portfolio. TopShelf’s portable mobile lounges and party suites, featuring custom d├ęcor and rooftop observation decks, combine the high-end experience of a suite with the excitement of an outdoor tailgate.

TopShelf was founded in 2011 in Winston-Salem, N.C., where it will continue to be based.  Company founder and CEO Brian Efird and his staff will remain with IMG working under the leadership of IMG College EVP Mark Dyer.
