The Gonzaga University Athletics Department today announced a 10-year multimedia rights extension with IMG as the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Bulldog Athletics. The extension will be added to the one year remaining on the existing contract, which extends the relationship between IMG and Gonzaga through 2028. IMG has represented Gonzaga’s multimedia rights since 2008.

”We are excited to announce an extension with IMG for our multimedia rights,” Director of Athletics Mike Roth said. “We continue to have a fantastic relationship with the IMG team and are eager to work with them to grow our brand locally and nationally.”

As part of the new agreement and extension, IMG will capitalize on an array of new digital signage assets to be installed by Gonzaga, including LED basketball stanchion signage, new endwall digital video displays and signage, and a new center hung scoreboard with a full circular LED ring underneath video screens.

The extension also includes third-tier television rights for games not broadcast under the West Coast Conference broadcast agreement.

IMG has also represented the licensing rights for Gonzaga University since 1999 and announced an eight-year extension to the agreement in 2016 via IMG College Licensing.
