IMG today announced the debut of Tailgate Club, a premier tailgate and hospitality experience for IMG College’s partner universities and their fans. Operated in partnership with IMG’s experiential marketing agency, IMG LIVE, Tailgate Club will debut at The University of Kansas, The University of Washington and West Virginia University for the 2017 football season.
“Tailgate Club will enhance the fan experience by providing customizable, turnkey hospitality solutions for individuals and companies on gameday,” said Tim Pernetti, President, IMG College. “Together with IMG LIVE, we are thrilled to launch Tailgate Club and to bring added value to our collegiate partners, sponsors and fans.”
Tailgate Club allows fans to reserve a premium location without waking up before dawn with packages that include a premium reserved location near the action, customizable tent, seating, catering and entertainment options, and gameday concierge service to handle requests.
The Rainier Vista Tailgate Club at the University of Washington will be situated in a spot long coveted by Husky fans but never before available, directly across the street from Husky Stadium and near public transit. IMG LIVE will also be taking over planning and operations for The Zone, an in-venue hospitality area.  The Mountaineer Tailgate Club at West Virginia University will debut as a stadium-adjacent hospitality setup at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.
At the University of Kansas, IMG LIVE is building a unique hospitality solution in the North End Zone of Memorial Stadium called the “Hawk’s Nest.” The semi-permanent structure can accommodate more than 400 fans with a one-of-a-kind in-game experience including food, drinks and dedicated restrooms. Fans can purchase Hawk’s Nest access through Kansas Athletics.
